Overview

Smart Water Purifier is a connected multi-stage water purifier (sediment + activated carbon + RO membrane + UV + mineral re-add) with live TDS / pH monitoring, per-stage filter-life tracking, leak detection, and auto-flush — so the family drinks safe water and you never have to guess when to change a filter.

Built for households on municipal or borewell supply where TDS, sediment, and biological contamination are real risks. The purifier streams TDS-in / TDS-out, pH, and flow live to the app; each filter stage shows percent life remaining; a leak-rope sensor under the unit fires an SMS the second a drip is detected; and auto-flush cycles the RO membrane on schedule to extend its life.

How It Works

Purifier column — water enters dirty, passes through sediment (removes mud, rust), activated carbon (chlorine, odour), RO membrane (heavy metals, dissolved solids), UV lamp (bacteria, virus), and a mineral cartridge that adds back calcium / magnesium for taste. Clean water fills the 7–10 L tank.
Sensors & quality — TDS probes on inlet and outlet show purification ratio in ppm; pH sensor tracks acidity; conductivity sensor watches mineral re-add; leak-rope sensor sits under the unit.
Cloud dashboard — 30-day TDS-out trend with safe-threshold line, litres purified per month, filter-swap countdown, UV-lamp hours, and zero-event audit log.
Family & alerts — every adult phone gets push + SMS for leak, filter-due, TDS spike, UV expiry. One-tap order replacement filters from your linked supplier.

A feedback loop pulls filter auto-order, TDS baseline recalibration, leak patches, and OTA firmware back to the purifier — the blue stream along the bottom of the diagram.
