Inquiries & Quotes
For standard products in our catalogue, we issue a quotation within 24 working hours. Custom solutions involving site survey, BOQ preparation, or imported components typically take 2–5 working days. Urgent requests can be flagged via WhatsApp and we will prioritise them the same day.
At minimum we need the application, target quantity, and any technical constraints (voltage, communication protocol, environment). For projects, a basic site layout or existing single-line diagram speeds things up considerably. If you are unsure, share what you have and we will set up a short scoping call.
Within Dhaka, the first scoping visit is complimentary for genuine project enquiries. Visits outside Dhaka or detailed engineering surveys requiring measurement and reporting carry a nominal fee that is fully credited against the project if you proceed with us.
Yes, samples are available for most catalogue items. Samples are billed at standard unit price and shipped within 2–3 working days. If you commit to a bulk order within 30 days, the sample cost is adjusted in the final invoice.
Absolutely. Listed prices are MSRP for single units; volume tiers kick in from 10 units and become significantly more aggressive past 100. For framework agreements covering 12 months or more, we publish a fixed price list with locked margins.
Products
Our core lines include Siemens, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Delta, and Hikvision for control and surveillance, plus selected Chinese OEMs for cost-sensitive deployments. We also distribute our own SGT-branded IoT gateways, sensors, and edge modules manufactured to industrial spec.
Fast-moving items (common sensors, basic PLCs, network gear, surveillance hardware) are stocked at our Dhaka warehouse for same-week delivery. Specialised drives, large PLC racks, and custom-configured controllers are imported on order to ensure you receive the exact model and firmware revision needed.
For European brands, expect 4–6 weeks ex-factory plus 2 weeks shipping and clearance. Asian-origin equipment typically lands in 3–4 weeks total. Air-freight options are available for critical replacements but carry a 20–35% premium depending on weight and destination.
Manufacturer warranty applies as published — typically 12 months for sensors and controllers, 24 months for industrial PLCs, and 36 months for select Siemens and Schneider lines. SGT-branded hardware carries our own 24-month replacement warranty, extendable to 36 months with an AMC.
Yes. Every project delivery includes a handover session for operators and maintenance staff. Structured 2–3 day training programmes covering PLC programming, SCADA operation, or IoT platform administration are also available, either at our office or on your premises.
Services & Projects
A small retrofit or single-machine automation usually runs 4–8 weeks from kickoff to commissioning. Medium plant-level IoT or SCADA deployments are 3–5 months. Greenfield factory automation with civil and panel work tends to be 6–9 months. Detailed Gantt charts are issued at the kickoff stage and tracked weekly.
Yes — commissioning is treated as a formal project phase with documented Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Our engineers run loop checks, I/O verification, control sequence validation, and operator training before sign-off. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) is also available for panels assembled at our workshop.
Yes, integration with legacy PLCs, ERPs, or existing SCADA is one of our specialities. We commonly bridge Modbus RTU/TCP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, and MQTT, and push data to systems like SAP, Odoo, or custom dashboards. A short discovery phase confirms protocol compatibility before any commitment is made.
We offer three AMC tiers — Basic (quarterly preventive visits), Standard (monthly visits plus remote monitoring), and Premium (24/7 response with on-site spare-parts kit). AMC is available for installations we delivered as well as third-party systems after an initial audit.
Our portfolio ranges from BDT 80,000 single-machine retrofits to BDT 4 crore+ multi-line automation projects. There is no strict minimum, though projects under BDT 50,000 are usually delivered as standardised off-the-shelf packages rather than custom engineering.
Payments & Invoicing
We accept account-to-account bank transfer, RTGS, EFT, and pay-order against tax invoice. bKash and Nagad merchant payments are supported for amounts under BDT 5 lakh. International clients can settle via SWIFT or LC at sight.
For catalogue product orders the standard is 50% advance with 50% on delivery. For project-based work we usually structure 40% advance, 40% on equipment delivery to site, and 20% on commissioning sign-off. Larger projects can move to milestone billing on request.
Installment arrangements are available for projects above BDT 10 lakh on a case-by-case basis, typically tied to delivery milestones. For AMC packages we offer quarterly or monthly billing as a standard option to ease cash-flow planning.
Yes, we routinely work with LC at sight and usance LC up to 90 days against confirmed orders. We can also operate via back-to-back LC when sourcing imported equipment directly to your bonded warehouse. LC charges are typically borne by the opener unless agreed otherwise.
Warranty & Support
SGT-delivered automation and IoT projects carry a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of commissioning sign-off, covering software defects, configuration errors, and panel wiring. Hardware components retain their respective OEM warranty periods running in parallel.
Standard email tickets receive an initial response within 4 working hours. WhatsApp messages are typically answered within 60 minutes during business hours. For critical issues affecting production, our remote engineers attempt to log in within 30 minutes of the alert.
Round-the-clock emergency response is included as standard with our Premium AMC tier and is available as an add-on for other AMC tiers. Without an AMC, after-hours support is billed at an hourly emergency rate with a 2-hour minimum.
Account
An account lets you track every inquiry, quotation, and active project from a single dashboard. You also get downloadable invoices, AMC visit logs, and saved product favourites for faster reordering. Visit your dashboard to explore.
Once signed in, the Inquiries panel of your dashboard lists every request with current status (Received, Reviewing, Quoted, Won, Closed). You will also receive email and optional WhatsApp notifications whenever a status changes or our team adds a comment.
You may request account deletion at any time by emailing support@sgtsystems.com from the registered address. Records tied to invoices and warranty claims are retained for regulatory compliance per our Privacy Policy; personal contact details are erased within 7 working days.
