Overview

SGT Smart Speakers are multi-room voice-controlled speakers that double as the household’s control hub for music, news, calendar, smart-home scenes and reminders — in English, Bengali, Hindi or Urdu.

A 3-mic far-field array hears you across the room over playing music, the wake-word runs entirely on the speaker (so the cloud only ever sees commands you actually said to it), and the system pairs into stereo or links into a synchronised multi-room mesh that streams the same source to every speaker with < 20 ms drift. Ask for the weather, schedule a reminder, set a scene, dim the lights or play your morning lo-fi playlist — one device handles all of it.

How It Works

The diagram above traces a voice command from the mic array, through the local wake-word and the cloud’s NLU, back to the speaker (and every other speaker in the same group). Hover any module to see its live telemetry.

The speaker — cylindrical unit with 360° tweeter, down-firing woofer, 3-mic top array and a colour LED status ring.
Voice & intent — 4-stage pipeline: on-device wake, cloud ASR, NLU intent extraction, then an action (play / scene / answer).
Cloud services — music (Spotify, YouTube, Tidal), calendar, weather, news, plus the smart-home bridge to lights, AC, curtains and plugs.
Multi-room & family — stereo pair, party mode (all rooms), per-room volume; 4 voice profiles so calendar replies are personalised.

The violet stream along the bottom is the live sync channel — TTS responses, scene fires and multi-room timing flowing between every speaker.
