Overview
SGT Smart Aquaculture is an end-to-end pond and tank monitoring platform — solar buoy sensors that measure dissolved oxygen, pH, ammonia, temperature, salinity and turbidity; edge-controlled aerators and feeders; AI-based biomass estimation; and a farmer-friendly mobile app.
Built for shrimp, tilapia, pangasius, carp and trout operations across Bangladesh, India, Vietnam and the Philippines. The system increases yield by 8-20% and cuts mortality 30-60% by maintaining ideal water quality and preventing overnight oxygen crashes.

How It Works
- Sense — a solar-powered buoy with a probe stack samples water every 10-30 seconds at multiple depths.
- Decide — edge rules run locally on the buoy (e.g.,
IF DO < 5.0 mg/L → aerator ON) and trigger actuators in real time. - Act — relays control paddle-wheel or diffused aerators, auto-feeders, water-exchange pumps and heaters.
- Report — readings stream to the cloud, where AI estimates biomass, FCR and predicts harvest date; the farmer sees everything in a phone app and gets push alerts on alarms.
