Smart AC
Overview
Smart Air Conditioner is a Wi-Fi connected inverter AC that learns your routine, senses room occupancy, and runs on the lowest energy possible to hit your comfort setpoint — controlled from the app, voice assistants, or your existing smart-home ecosystem.
Built for households tired of overpaying for cooling: inverter compressors run continuously at variable speed, eco-mode tightens the deadband when no one is home, sleep curves gently raise the setpoint at night, and per-room sensors mean the AC works for the room you're actually in. Monthly energy reports show kWh, cost, and comparison versus last month.
- Inverter compressor — variable speed, up to 40% less energy than fixed-speed ACs
- Occupancy & geofence aware — auto setback when the room or home is empty
- Voice + app + scenes — Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri Shortcuts, Matter-ready
- Energy reports — daily kWh, monthly cost, savings vs. baseline
How It Works
The diagram above shows the four layers of the Smart AC. Hover any module to see the live telemetry.
- Wall unit blows conditioned air into the room. An onboard thermistor measures supply & return temperature, the inverter compressor modulates from 30–110% to hold setpoint, and the swing louver distributes air evenly.
- Thermostat & sensors — room temp, humidity, PIR occupancy, and optional CO₂ feed the controller. Eco mode widens the comfort band when no one is home; sleep curve gently warms the setpoint overnight.
- Cloud dashboard stores 24-month energy history, generates monthly PDF reports, shows filter life, and warns of refrigerant or coil issues before they become breakdowns.
- Voice & presets — anyone can say "set the bedroom to 24" or tap Sleep / Movie / Away presets. Geofence flips to Away setback when the last phone leaves home.
A feedback loop pulls grid demand signals, weather forecasts, and firmware updates back to the AC — visible as the amber stream along the bottom of the diagram.
Features
- Inverter compressor with variable-speed modulation
- Eco mode — automatic comfort-band widening when empty
- Sleep curve — gentle overnight setpoint drift for better sleep + lower bills
- Occupancy sensing — PIR + door contacts integration
- Geofence Away mode — setback to 30°C when last family phone leaves
- Weekly schedules with weekday / weekend profiles
- Energy reports — daily kWh, cost estimate, vs. baseline %
- Filter-life tracking with replacement reminders
- Self-diagnostics — refrigerant loss, coil freeze, fan stall alerts
- Voice control — Alexa, Google, Apple HomeKit / Siri; Matter ready
Use Cases
- Bedrooms — sleep curve quietly raises setpoint overnight, geofence wakes it before alarm
- Living rooms — Movie preset switches to whisper-quiet fan + slightly cooler setpoint
- Home offices — schedule cooling around your working hours; voice override for hot calls
- Holiday homes — keep the home at Away setback, pre-cool 1 h before arrival
- Multi-room flats — link several units, share schedules, see consolidated energy reports
- Energy-conscious households — monthly report shows real savings vs. fixed-speed ACs
- Hot-climate rentals — landlords cap maximum setpoint per tenant via app
