LED Strips
Overview
SGT LED Strips are addressable RGBIC light strips with a small smart controller that turns any room, TV cabinet, kitchen kick-board, gaming desk or stairwell into a programmable canvas of colour, motion and music.
Each LED on the strip is individually addressable, so the controller can render rainbows, chases, music-sync animations and per-segment scenes instead of the single-colour wash you get from cheaper strips. The controller pairs over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, runs a beat-detect engine on the built-in mic, and accepts schedule and scene commands from the SGT cloud, the SGT app, or any major voice assistant.
- RGBIC addressable LEDs — per-LED colour, not just per-strip
- Music sync via on-board mic or HDMI/AUX line-in (60 fps render)
- 180+ scene library with editable segments and your own keyframes
- Cuttable every 100 mm — trim to fit shelves, mirrors and kick-boards
How It Works
The diagram above traces a beat from your speaker, through the controller’s FX engine, out to each segment of the strip in 12 ms. Hover any module to see its live telemetry.
- The strip — flexible PCB with WS2812-class RGBIC LEDs at 30 / 60 / 100 LEDs per metre, behind silicone or PU jacket for splash zones.
- Controller — small in-line unit with mic, AUX in, optional HDMI sync box, and a 60 fps FX engine that decodes beats and renders pixel patterns.
- Cloud scene library — 180+ presets plus your saved scenes sync across every controller in your account; sunrise/sunset triggers use your geo-location.
- App & voice — iOS / Android app, Alexa, Google, Apple Home; assign strips to zones, link music apps, schedule triggers.
The pink stream along the bottom of the diagram is the live FX channel — new colours, scenes and segment commands flowing back to every strip in real time.
Features
- RGBIC per-LED control — chases, rainbows, gradients, sparkles
- Music sync — mic-based or line-in, 60 fps, beat-detect 60–200 BPM
- HDMI sync option — matches strip colours to your TV content in real time
- Game Mode — reduced latency profile under 20 ms for reactive setups
- Scene library — 180+ pre-made (Party, Chill, Movie, Forest, Eid, Diwali, Christmas, Aurora)
- Segment editor — split a 5 m strip into up to 16 independent zones
- Cuttable & extendable — trim every 100 mm, join up to 10 m per controller
- Schedules — sunrise / sunset / time-of-day triggers
- Voice control — Alexa, Google, Apple Home (Matter)
- IP65 outdoor variant — for eaves, balconies, garden paths
Use Cases
- TV / cabinet backlight — ambient bias-light that reduces eye strain
- Gaming desk — reactive lighting that pulses with game audio
- Kitchen kick-board / under-counter — warm 2700 K task light at night
- Stairwell & corridor — soft motion-triggered pathway lighting
- Party / event mode — whole-room colour change synced to music
- Holiday lighting — Eid, Diwali, Christmas scenes without seasonal strings
- Cafés & small retail — programmable ambience that changes through the day
