Overview

SGT Asset Tracker is a small, battery-powered tracking device built for unpowered or semi-powered assets — shipping containers, swap-bodies, trailers, generators, plant equipment, ISO tanks and roll cages. It fuses BLE, LoRaWAN, LTE-M / NB-IoT and GPS into one device so it can report from a port yard, an indoor warehouse and the open road without changing hardware.

Designed for 3–7 year sealed battery life on a single non-rechargeable Li-SOCl₂ cell at typical fleet reporting intervals, with an accelerometer-driven motion / tilt / shock detector that wakes the device on movement and goes back to deep-sleep when idle. Magnet, screw and tamper-resistant mounting options for every asset class.

How It Works

Asset + Tracker — the tracker is bolted, magnet-mounted or strap-fixed to the asset. It samples GPS only when accelerometer says it is moving, and listens for BLE beacons inside warehouses. Tilt and shock thresholds wake the device for event-class reports.
Location Fusion — the cloud combines GPS fixes, BLE-beacon triangulation against a gateway map, LoRa RSSI, and LTE-M cell-ID to produce one best-estimate position with an error radius. Indoors-to-outdoors handover is seamless.
Map / Cloud Dashboard — every asset on one map, with geofences drawn as polygons, dwell-timers per zone, last-seen / battery / temperature columns, and CSV / API export.
Logistics Manager — push and email when a geofence is breached, a container is idle past its dwell-budget, or shock exceeds a transit threshold. One-tap dispatch to the nearest crew.
