Overview

SGT AI Dashcam is a dual-lens in-cab video telematics device — forward camera for road events (collision, lane drift, tailgating, traffic-sign recognition) and driver-facing camera for fatigue, distraction, phone use and seatbelt detection. All AI runs on the device; only events and short clips are pushed to the cloud.

Built for fleets that take safety, insurance and litigation seriously — logistics, last-mile, intercity buses, taxi and ride-hail. The dashcam pays for itself by reducing accident frequency 25-50% and by providing time-stamped video evidence on any incident.

How It Works

Capture — both lenses record continuously to encrypted local storage with rolling overwrite.
Detect — edge AI runs RoadNet (cars, pedestrians, lane lines, traffic signs) and DriverNet (face, eyes, gaze, phone) at 25-30 FPS.
Alert — in-cab buzzer + voice warns the driver in real time on critical events.
Upload — only the 10-30 s clip around an event is sent to the cloud; the full recording stays on the device for 7-30 days.
Review — safety manager reviews events, sends coaching notes; insurer can pull locked clips on incident.
