Overview
SGT Agricultural Drones are heavy-duty multirotor aircraft built for crop scouting and targeted spraying — multispectral / NDVI imaging cameras for plant-stress mapping, precision liquid spray nozzles, RTK-GPS waypoint missions, and swarm coordination of up to 8 drones from one ground station.
Designed for large farms, plantations, and contract spray operators in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and South-East Asia. Missions are planned on a tablet, drones execute autonomously, and the farmer receives a PDF field report with stress zones, treated area, chemical used and savings — usually 30-70% less spray than blanket application.
- NDVI / multispectral imaging — 5 cm/px maps reveal plant stress days before visible damage
- Targeted spot-spray — saves 30-70% chemical vs blanket spraying
- Swarm missions — up to 8 drones, synchronized waypoints, automatic battery swap workflow
- RTK-GPS precision — centimetre-accuracy way-pointing, repeatable mission lines
How It Works
- Plan — agronomist draws a field polygon on the tablet; the mission planner auto-generates flight lines, altitudes, overlap and spray volumes from a prescription map.
- Fly — drones execute the mission autonomously, image and/or spray in one pass, return-to-launch on low battery or low spray.
- Process — onboard NDVI is generated frame-by-frame and stitched on the cloud; an AI model (CropNet) flags stress zones with confidence scores.
- Act — the agronomist reviews zones and either dispatches a targeted spray mission or exports a variable-rate prescription to a ground sprayer.
Features
- Multispectral camera — RGB + NIR + Red Edge, 12 MP global shutter
- Spray system — 10-30 L tank, 4-8 nozzles, variable rate from 0.5 to 3.0 L/min/m
- Autonomous mission planning — drag-draw field, auto flight lines, weather check, NOTAM lookup
- Swarm coordination — geo-fence, anti-collision, role assignment (scout / spray / relay)
- RTK-GPS — base station included, 1-2 cm horizontal accuracy
- Field reports — PDF with NDVI heatmap, area covered, chemical used, time per acre
- BVLOS-ready — telemetry + video over LTE / 4G bonded link
- Service & training — pilot certification, on-site mission setup, spare-parts stocking
Use Cases
- Rice, jute, sugarcane spraying — replace knapsack labour with a 1-2 person drone crew
- Plantation NDVI scouting — tea, palm, banana, mango stress mapping each fortnight
- Locust & pest response — rapid-deploy spray missions on outbreaks
- Variable-rate fertilizer — prescription maps for ground spreaders
- Contract spraying — service-bureau model billed per acre treated
- Research & trial plots — repeatable mission lines for agronomy trials
